It serves as a comprehensive tool for monitoring medications, natural products, immunizations, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, allergies, healthcare providers information, and personal health notes.

Developed by prominent Canadian health care associations, MyMedRec offers several key features including reminders for medication doses, tracking of medication intake times, an archive for discontinued medicines, support for multiple user profiles for managing family health data, integration with calendar applications for prescription refills and medical appointments, the ability to email health profiles and medication history, and optional password protection for added security.

This application was created with contributions from esteemed organizations such as ISMP Canada, Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI), Patients for Patient Safety Canada, Canadian Medical Association (CMA), Canadian Pharmacists (CPhA), Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), and The Best Medicines Coalition (BMC).
